In addition to holding two days of tournaments where all fees are donated to Ante Up For Africa, UltimateBet is also auctioning off a number of sought after items on their auction site. Players will be able to use their points to bid on such items as private poker lessons with Annie Duke, Scott Ian (Anthrax) autographed CDs and more. Knowing that they are not only bidding on some great items and life experiences, players will get the satisfaction of knowing that they are contributing to this worthy cause as well.

Last year, the inaugural Ante Up For Africa poker tournament in Las Vegas generated more than $700,000 in donations for the cause. The event was attended by a number of A- list celebrities from both Hollywood and the poker world including the likes of Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Adam Sandler, Shannon Elizabeth, Jason Alexander, Kevin James, Cheryl Hines and Montel Williams.

The 2008 Ante Up For Africa poker tournament takes place on Wednesday, July 2nd at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Hosted by Annie Duke and Don Cheadle, the event will be emceed by the one and only Phil Hellmuth and a similar list of celebrities are expected to attend.
